Working with clients; to develop their Health & Safety Policy and set out the Organisation & Arrangements for its implementation. The completed Health and Safety Management System is built to the specific needs of the business, recognising that whilst legislation applies to most places of work the implementation will vary. Working with the client, we ensure that effective control of health and safety is in place and that the client has solid lines of communication throughout the company. I work with Clients to gain the cooperation of their line managers and employees, to ensure effective health and safety management and performance. Preparing information suitable for issue to all of the of the clients employees and contractors (where engaged), aimed at meeting the duty on Employers to provide essential health & safety information & instruction. Able to provide SME's with a Competent Person service. These services include will Site Visits, Inspections, Audits, access to Email Alerts and the continued maintenance of the Health and Safety Management System built for the business. Providing clients with proactive support for the clients own Management Team; responding to the needs of Line Managers a timely and professional manner.

Manufacturers of Power Assisted Steering gear to the automotive industry and employing 240+ employees. Reporting directly to the Managing Director on all aspects associated with the post, job-specific responsibilities included: the Developing, Writing, Review and Revision of the Company Health & Safety policy & procedures and the Training and Development policy and procedures. Providing all lines of management with practical support in the administration and implementation of the Company policy and procedures. Implementing and maintaining computer stored records of employee development for all employees. Custody and Upkeep of the Company Skills Training Matrix. Administration of all training needs including Induction Training, Company First Aid cover, Forklift Truck Operatives licensing, Company Safety Representatives training, Management Development and Supervisory Management training.
