Mr Alex Fletcher (CMIOSH)
BA (Honours)
Overview
I am a professional Chartered Health & Safety Practitioner with over seventeen yearsÂ’ experience within the public sector. As the in-house supplier of City of York Council's competent health & safety advice we cover a wide range of topics from asbestos to workplace transport, in a variety of settings including social work, schools, waste, public realm and construction-related activities. I have developed and provided a wide range of training to meet most clientsÂ’ needs. In addition to training I can also provide cost-effective specific advice and guidance using a "common sense" approach to risk management. This bespoke guidance can involve preparing and reviewing health and safety policies, arrangements, risk assessments, safe systems of work, permits to work, site audit visits, and incident investigation.
