Welcome to my profile. I am Amanda Lawson-Stoner CMIOSH; SIIRSM; the ALLS of the ALLS Group and a professional consultant specialising in Health & Safety; Business Management and Management Systems.
I help take away the stress and complexity, whether it be with Health and Safety Legal Compliance; Reviewing your business Plan; Implementing Objectives and Targets; Improvement of Workplace Culture or the implementation and maintenance of Management Systems, whilst working to make it as fun, easy and straightforward as possible.
ALLS also carry out Health and Safety Training Services to help ensure you and your staff have the knowledge required to work safetly. We also work with other training providers for more specialised training
In turn, I help you to Step Up, Take Action and Be Resposible in everything that you do.

Inspections are a key part of good health and safety management. They allow you to check that your workplace and work activities are healthy and safe. Workplace inspections help prevent incidents, injuries and illnesses.
An inspection helps you identify hazards or processes that are not working efficiently and decide what measures to take before they lead to an accident or incident.
COSHH
COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Regulations are the regulations that requires employers to control substances that are hazardous to health.
We work with you to prevent or reduce workers' exposure to hazardous substances by:
- Finding out what the health hazards are;
- Deciding how to prevent harm to health (risk assessment);
- Finding alternaltive solutions / substances to use

Display Screen Equipment (DSE)
As an employer, you must protect your workers from the health risks of working with display screen equipment (DSE), such as PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones.
The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations apply to workers who use DSE daily, for an hour or more at a time, including at
- at a fixed workstation
- mobile workers
- home workers
- hot-desking (workers should carry out a basic risk assessment if they change desks regularly
We work with you to meet these regulations by:
- CompletingDSE workstation assessments
- Reduce risks, including making sure workers take breaks from DSE work or do something different
- provide an eye test if a worker asks for one
- provide training and information for workers
Incorrect use of DSE or poorly designed workstations or work environments can lead to pain in necks, shoulders, backs, arms, wrists and hands as well as fatigue and eye strain. The causes may not always be obvious.
Fire
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order requires Businesses to ensure it carries out assessments and ensure measures are taken to prevent fire, however, if fire does occur, the measures to take in the event of one. This includes ensuring training is provided

Manual Handling
Manual handling means transporting or supporting a load by hand or bodily force. It includes lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving loads. A load can be an object, person or animal.
Workers need to be protected from the risk of injury from hazardous manual handling .
We help you to follow the requirements of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations by carrying out Manual Handling Operations Assessments and Training
We help you to avoid manual handling so far as is reasonably practicable; assess and reduce the risk of injury from manual handling
