•Responsible for the HSE management in multi tenancy building supporting Head of FM and the Technical team

•Ensuring all H&S legislation and policies are adhered to on site

•Managing third-party contractors on site during the fit out, refurbishment projects CDM.

•Carrying out routine workplace inspections

•Maintain and manage compliance with safety, environmental and regulations and ensuring the company is legally compliant with all Health & Safety legislation.

•Identifies safety hazards, carrying out risk assessments, and create/implement recommendations for work process and procedure improvements.

•Establish, implement & maintain emergency response procedures, carry out fire drills.

•Working with and training all employees to manage, monitor and improve the health and safety standards in the workplace.

•Investigation and review of accidents, incidents and near misses to ensure statutory and company compliance.

•Identify solutions to prevent reoccurrence and ensure robust countermeasures.

•Producing comprehensive accident investigation reports to Head of FM and the business which highlights root causes and effective control measures.

•Coordinating building security, maintenance, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling.

•Check that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and follow up on any deficiencies

•Ensure high standards of housekeeping and hygiene are always maintained.

Providing advice and support to potential and existing clients through verbal and written communications (telephone, email, written reports)

Carry out site visits to clients to undertake the following: Health & Safety Audits (Fire Risk Assessments, General Health and Safety risk assessment, COSHH assessments, Legionella risk Assessments, COVID -19 Risk Assessments, Accreditation Assistance visits, Health & Safety Training, Accident Investigation, and other Health & Safety related consultancy services.

Assisting in developing and implementing H&S Emergency response system, contingency  plans and procedures ( fire emergency evacuation).

Proactively review, assess and provide guidance of Safety is the key ltd clients in line with Health & Safety legislation compliance and best practice.

Promoting and developing a positive safety culture in organisation, and its integration with other management functions

Helping to increase awareness of specific health and safety issues within the organisation accident statistics and trend analysis.

Undertaking work-based projects to develop or implement positive health and safety policies and processes in an organization.

Assessing the health and safety risks of an organisation and evaluating risk assessment methodologies.

Developing or implementing effective communication systems for health and safety information.

Provide new clients with a gap analysis, in relation to their current health and safety standing.

Advise and instruct clients in the use of iAuditor by Safety Culture software (an inspection checklist application that allows users to build checklists, file reports and conduct inspections through a tablet or mobile phone)

Liaise with HSE and other Enforcing Authorities on behalf of clients when required to do so. Provide appropriate support and assistance to the client when dealing with Enforcing Authority action.

Assist clients with accident or other special investigations as required.
