Overview
My current role as Consultant and Director of an independent environment, health and safety consultancy involves working across multiple sectors including oil and gas, offshore renewables, maritime, construction and small and medium scale businesses. I manage the environmental, health and safety aspects of clients’ operations through undertaking HSE audits and/or inspections, development of risk assessment, lead/participate in hazard studies, HSE document reviews, attendance at relevant HSE meetings, development of relevant awareness bulletins and delivery of training as required. I also provide environment, health and safety advice to each of our clients to ensure compliance with relevant environmental, health and safety regulations e.g. MARPOL, OCR, IMDG Code, COSHH, REACH, COMAH, DSEAR, HASSAWA and works closely with client’s team to manage the operations in line with other regulatory requirements such site permits, consents and licences.
I have over 25 years’ experience in the civil engineering, oil and gas, waste management, 15 of which have been mostly in environmental, health & safety (EHS) or related roles during which I attained Chartered membership of renowned professional associations. Bruno is also versatile in all aspects of EHS management including inspections, audits, development of risk assessments including chemical risk assessments, policies or a whole management system (certified to ISO 14001, 18001), development and delivery of environmental training, NEBOSH and IOSH and as well as bespoke topics on spill control, vessel pollution prevention training to mention but a few.
