A Chartered member of IOSH since April 2023, I achieved CMIOSH via the IPD and Peer Review process.

My professional scope in health and safety management includes consulting with senior leadership teams, delivering training to employees at all levels, and auditing to ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.

I am a science graduate and educator having completed a Bachelor's Degree in molecular sciences with a QTS for England and Wales. After teaching sciences in England up to A level for 7 years I retrained in nursing and specialised in neurosciences  (University of Texas at Dallas) and occupational health. By working in hospitals and clinics with people recovering from injuries and managing disabilities I saw first hand the results of best practice occupational healthcare. My research included studies on disability and employment, occupational assessment, and rehabilitation for re-entry into the workplace.

As a health and safety specialist my workplace experience ranges from science laboratories, education facilities, hospitals, and care homes to construction sites, hospitality venues,

manufacturing plants and offices.
