I have 20 years experience as a Health, Safety and Environmental Officer. My skills include a wide variety of disciplines, ie Manual Handling, COSHH, DSEAR, Noise, Legionella, DSE, HAZOPS, Pressurised Systems. It also includes auditing ISO / OHSAS standards, Environmental / PPC Permits and legionella management systems, developing and delivering training material. I am a chartered member of IOSH and have a Masters Degree in Safety and Environmental Management.

I was a Health, Safety and Environmental Adisor to a national energy management company. This involved the management, maintenance and operation of boilers (steam and hot water), legoinella management (including cooling towers), CHP and turbines.

My role as a SHE advisor included developing a Safety & Environmental management system, auditing (ISO, OHSAS, Legionella, Permits - environmental and PPC), training, DSEAR, noise surveys, fire safety assessments, confined spaces, COSHH and manual handling
