Regional Health, Safety, Environment and Quality advisor for an engineering / construction company working as part of the direct delivery frame work within the utilities sector.

Pro actively develop and implement the group strategy in relation to promotion of Health and Safety culture.

Promote continual improvement within all areas on the business. 

Liaise with leadership teams to ensure delivery of Health & Safety  topics covered and understood on operational sites.

Support line managers with investigations, closing out accident and incident reports in line with company policies.

Manage site / Workshop safety compliance inspections; validating the close out of any non conformities whilst looking for opportunities for improvement.

Undertake and Lead internal and external audits such as ISO, Achilies and direct framework quality audits.

Develop HSEQ documentation and maintain the company IMS system.

Offer advise to all staff and give guidance and support for all levels of management.

Occupational health surveillance management such as dust, noise and vibration

Creating and driving HSEQ campaignes using all methods of communication

Delivering internal training courses on specific HSEQ topics

Liaise with high profile clients within the utilities sector working on collabrotive projects and learning projects within selected working groups

Attend regular client health and safety meetings as well as chair and run internal health and safety meetings

Active member of the behavioural focus team for a high profile client, attending behaviourial framework meetings with client consultants for collabrotive projects

Active “Change Champion“ focusing on Behavioural impacts and changes within people

Approve and review sub contractor pre qualification submissions 

Senior Health and Safety Consultant wokring  offering Health and Safety support and advice to companies within various inductries ranging from construction and manufacturing to engineering and fabrication covering a vast scope of sectors

Assistance in docuementaion preperation for PQQ’s and audits including quality accreditations

Docuement reviews and pre audit inspections to ensure complience to relevant governing bodies

Creation of  Health and Safety docuemtnation and site files including Health and Safety policies, risk assessments, method statements and CoSHH data sheets

Accident and Investigation support and management including non complience reports and close outs

Guidance in all aspects of health surveillance for HAVs, Noise, Dust etc

Coaching and Training in Health and Safety topics to external company management teams.

 Management and distribution of company newsletter highlighting important Health and Safety topics, training infomation and important company information

Participate in a Health and Safety Assurance Framework for corporate clients devlivering independant assurance audits and highlevel, analytical reports including identification of good practice and bench marking.

Oganisation of mandatory Health and Safety related training courses for mutiple sites; all UK based which include liason with internal and external course providers.

Planning and Recording all training hours and training budgets for multiple sites.

Active member of the Health and Safety Committee, chairing meetings and creating safety shares for employees

Health and Safety Auditor at sales offices

Internal ISO quality auditor for sales offices.

Assessing current SOP’s and re-writing accordingly

Creation of purchase requisitions and purchase orders using SAP system for all external training course providers.

Administration of the internal online support tool for employees Health and Safety training files and records

Completion of DSE assessments for employees within the workplace that require additional assistance and support.

Managing the day-to-day work schedule for multi-site engineers. A supervisory role that takes a great deal of organizational skills.

Pro-active member of the Health and Safety committee with responsibility for all external sales team and multiple site locations plus organization of all Health and Safety training courses.
