·         In addition to High Risk accountabilities, selected to be the lead health and safety consultant for high profile event Polo in the Park, and approached externally to deliver operational projects for the inaugural Invictus Games 2014.

Reporting into the Principal Health and Safety Consultant, responsible for delivering expert guidance and consultancy to production and event personnel.

Key Achievements:

·         Provided expert advice and guidance to the events industry in the completion of their Safety File and Emergency Planning Manual, highlighting any possible short falls and legislation compliance requirements, and reviewing all contractor documentation prior to the events. Events included London Triathlon, Golf Open Championship over 4 consecutive years, and Polo in the Park in London over 7 consecutive years.

·         Lead adviser for extreme locations including BBC Earth and Earth Flight. Accountable for conducting risk assessments, training and contingency plans for a variety of productions in a variety of locations, considering environment, wildlife and weather.

·         Responsible for health and safety consultancy for various productions including Britain’s Got Talent, X-‐‐Factor and BAFTA film awards. In addition, accountable for supporting ad-‐‐hoc productions e.g. the 40th  Anniversary of   the

revolution in Libya, with on-‐‐site safety guidance plus documentation production including risk assessments, Fire   Risk Assessments, Policies and method      statements.

·         Externally approached to be the Safety Adviser for the Sailing spectator facility, London 2012 Olympics. In addition, responsible for managing the command and control room, operations security, and being the emergency services liaison contact.

Health and Safety Co-­‐ordinator responsible for overseeing 75 sites from schools and nurseries to prisons. Key  Achievements:

·         Managed the collation and review of all accident and incident reports, forwarding relevant documentation on to the HSE.

·         Accountable for monitoring monthly site reports, escalating any problems to the attention of the Health and Safety Manager as appropriate.

Regional Safety Manager responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety across 44 camp sites in the UK. Key Achievements:

·         Managed all company storage facilities’ housing a variety of activity equipment, ensuring the equipment was fit for purpose.

·         Introduced safe systems of work for activities that bring a higher risk of injury, including tailored risk assessments, lesson plans and activity-­‐specific training for Camp  Instructors.

·         Super Camps also provides resources and safety equipment for large corporate events/clients including Harley Davidson, Blenheim Palace, Newbury Racecourse, and London Irish RFC. I was accountable  for  managing internal employee recruitment, training new employees on safety awareness, activity leadership and appropriate company representation.

·         Complied specific event safety files for each corporate event/client, which included risk assessments, method statements, lesson plans and set-­‐up   notes.

·         Initiated and led a company audit to ensure adherence to the working time directive, working hours and company vehicles legislation.

·         Developed and delivered a company induction programme for 300 temporary staff, including the delivery of Health and Safety training, practical Manual Handling and safety awareness.

·         Advised on all matters of Health and Safety and audited completion of risk assessments with follow-­‐on action plans implemented.

·         Delivered against all Service Level Agreements set by the school, for example training all maintenance employees on relevant health and safety such as hand tools and mobile platforms.
