At TJA Safety Solutions we aim to apply a practical approach to problem solving whilst helping to ensure compliance with current legislative requirements. TJA Safety Solutions is vastly experienced with over 30 years of Construction and Utility experience with a strong practical understanding of relevant UK Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and best practice. We have a positive and enthusiastic approach to dealing with problems and issues whilst providing Health and Safety Management / Advice to the Construction; Renewables; Utilities and many other industries, we are enablers not preventers. TJA Safety Solutions provides competent advice under Regulation 7(1) of The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 supporting employers, including contractors, to improve occupational health and safety.
We have worked on and learnt many ideas from large construction; renewable, civil engineering & infrastructure projects. TJA Safety Solutions has experience in helping SME's comply with CDM 2015 Regulations and has been trained by the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) in accident investigations. I am proud to be a Chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (CMIOSH), a member (AIFireE) of the Institution of Fire Engineers and registered member of the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR).
We provide CDM Advisory and Principal Designer support on a variety of different sized projects.
TJA Safety Solutions currently look after many Clients & Subcontractors from a variety of different industries ensuring that work is undertaken in a safe manner whilst adhering to legislative requirements. The company also works for various Contractors, Developers & Clients as the independent competent Health & Safety person on many Development & Construction projects, this has included Asbestos removal and demolition works. We undertake independent site safety inspections and audits where appointed to do so, together with incident investigation.
We work regularly as a consultant for the National House Building Council (NHBC) delivering training to their Clients. I am a qualified trainer who is able to deliver a variety of CITB & APS approved courses. In addition we deliver Asbestos training; Abrasive Wheel; CDM Awareness; Confined Spaces; Principal Designer & many other health and safety related training requirements. We can assist with any bespoke training needs to fit many different companies. TJA Safety Solutions are competent in carrying out safety inspections / audits; assessments of sub-contractors; Face Fit Testing; assistance in coaching and training with regards to Behavioural Safety with either employees or contractors. TJA Safety Solutions deliver first class customer service at all times with the ability to establish and build relationships with Clients, Principal Designers, Principal Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Customers and Regulators.
