Overview
I (John) am an exprienced award winning health and safety practitioner with excellant instructor abilities in a number of training subjects. In 2020, I was successful in becoming a course presenter for the Construction Training Board Industry (CITB) in specific construction training. I have qualifications as a COSHH assessor and Accident Investigator, along with many other safety related skill areas. With over 30 years working knowledge of health and safety compliances, mixed with employment law, my abilities to promote safety in a positive safety culture supports everything that I do in my own safety consultancy business. Direct Safety Management Ltd works closely with all elements of industry to help develop an in depth health and safety culture and one which is sustainable. Typical previous work history has included: drafting Occupational health procedural documents for monitoring sickness levels, stress levels and installing workable safety systems from a blank canvass. Knowledgeable & exprienced in highway / Public maintenance works and new build construction projects, supported by educational, social housing refit, network rail and general refurbishment project works and shop fit outs. To deliver the services I offer to prospective Clients, I need to have good exprience, and exceptional safety credentials. I am a proud holder of my Qualified Teacher award from Leeds University, listed as an approved CITB instructor on SMSTS / SSSTS / Site Safety courses, I am a COSHH assessor with previous exprience as an SSIP assessor. I hold Fellowship and Chartered safety grades with IIRSM and IOSH respectfully.
Direct Safety Management Limited has already secured works in Consultancy, training and internal safety auditing for Clients in Burton on Trent, North Yorkshire, Hull, Castleford, Pontefract, Leeds and surrounding areas.
