Katie works at both an operational and strategic position with the ability to influence, lead and challenge at all levels. She is an advocate of educating employees to take compliance into their own hands thus improving an organisations culture. Her passion and dedication to occupational health and safety means she will always strive for continual improvement both professionally and on a personal level.
Katie is proficient in a multitude of areas relating to QHSE including certified management system to ISO standards; 14001, 9001, 45001. She has working knowledge of additional standards ISO 50001 (energy), ISO 23001 (business continuity), ISO 27001 (information security) & ISO 44001 (collobrative working) as part of a wider IMS.
Katie has a personal interest in mental wellbeing in the workplace. Despite the increase of media attention on the subject it still remains a taboo subject. She wants to break down barriers and get people talking and add wellbeing to the management meeting agendas.
