Audits
Audits are an important element of an organisations health and safety management procedures.
Auditing is a process of collecting information on the effectiveness of your safety management system and planning for improvement. The audit will identify where you are up to and what you need to do to fill any gaps and strengthen your systems. Following the audit, an action plan will be developed, setting realistic timeframes that will allow you to address and develop those areas most in need, thus ensuring legislative compliance.
Inspections
Inspections are an important element of an organisations health and safety management procedures.
Inspections tend to look at one element of the management system or an individual section, site or work process rather than the management system as a whole. They will identify common safety hazards and risks and where needed will recommend improvements to eliminate or control them, ensuring best practice is maintained.
Bespoke Training
Investing in your employee’s is crucial to achieving a productive and safe workforce.
Quite simply we deliver effective, no nonsense health and safety training that covers your legal and moral duty to protect staff from injury.
We offer a range of standard and bespoke courses designed to meet your needs.
All training sessions are delivered by highly experienced health and safety consultants who hold a recognised qualification in teaching.
Courses can be delivered onsite and offsite, at times convenient to you, including outside of business hours (onsite only). All our courses are competitively priced and are priced per course, not per delegate unless stated.
Display Screen Equipment (DSE)
Sometimes the need for workstation assessments are overlooked.
An assessment of employees’ workstation is an employer’s legal obligation, along with providing adequate training on the use of DSE in the workplace. We are able to complete these assessments for you, ensuring that your company meets health and safety legislation.
The assessments are carried out onsite with your employees at their workstations. Any recommendations will be identified and advice provided.
Events and exhibitions
We work with event organisers and venues alike to help them plan and maintain a safe environment for workers, contractors and the public. We take a pragmatic approach to venue safety and understand that the venue itself, typically has two types of risk associated with it.
Those which are permanent and ever present, and
Those which occur as a result of the activity taking place
So, we work with the venue to deliver a consistent approach to the permanent risks and then flex this to reflect the activity or event being planned.
By working in this manner we can not only make health and safety a more efficient process but also advise exhibitors and event organisers on the likely risks associated with their particular event, making their lives easier.
