With over 20 years’ experience in Health and Safety covering a wide variety of fields such as education, social care, leisure, bereavement services and horticulture; I am a Chartered Member of the Institute of Safety and Health (CMIOSH) and currently work as a Health & Safety Consultancy Officer in educational establishments. I also undertake health and safety work for local care home establishments and small/medium sized manufacturing businesses.

I have considerable experience of successfully delivering significant value to organisations, identifying opportunities to streamline, consolidate and improve health and safety management systems.

My skills include preparation of site specific health and safety policies, risk assessments, fire risk assessments, COSHH assessments, accident investigation, audit and inspection. Curriculum-based assessments/inspections e.g. PE, science/radiation and design and technology.

I consider myself to be a motivated and results driven professional, focused on delivering customers’ requirements in dynamic and pressurised environments, with the ability to think creatively and generate ideas backed up with quality reports/assessments resulting in loyal customers.
