Warehouse / Contracts Manager | 02.1996 - 06.2001 | Msas Mcgregor Cory the warehousing and distribution division of Ocean Group plc. The Middleton warehouse is 200k sq. ft. storing approx 22000 pallets. My duties included the implementation of a safety management system to control and ensure the safe movement of MHE consisting of in excess 150 lift trucks and 350 staff. The warehouse, divided into a dedicated area for Vymura plc with the remainder used as a multi user area, which serviced such clients as Adidas, L’Oreal, Umbro and Seaton Healthcare, Robert McBride Group all under my management. I introduced a double deep racking storage system thus increasing the capacity to accommodate extra storage requirements. I also set up and implemented logistics systems at various sites within the UK and Europe. |
