Overview
A Chartered health and safety professional with over 15 years of experience in the industry. My experience began with Safecontractor, one of the largest SSIP H&S assessment scheme members, and expands to construction, local authority and social housing. I have extensive knowledge and experience in policy writing, risk assessments and audits.
Through continual professional development, I regularly keep up to date with H&S legislation, guidance and standards and I have completed NEBOSH qualifications in all key areas, including construction, fire, environmental and wellbeing.
Owner of MO Health and Safety, a consultancy supporting businesses across the UK, helping businesses to meet legal obligations set out by the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and other relevant legislation. Providing a simple and bespoke approach to risk management to minimise the risk to colleagues and others.
I understand the demands for businesses to continually demonstrate health and safety compliance. And, as a small business owner, I understand the need to do this while keeping costs to a minimum. I offer a retained consultancy service where businesses will benefit from an appointed competent person for advice and I offer a full range of H&S services for a one-off project fee. Both packages will be tailored to your business needs.
MO Health and Safety services include:
o Appointed competent person, as defined by the MHSWR 1999, providing expert H&S advice
o Competent person CV and professional indemnity insurance
o Completion of annual SSIP accreditations (Safecontractor, CHAS, Constructionline, etc.)
o Support completing PQQ’s / tender documentation
o Health and safety policy
o Risk assessments and method statements
o Procedures and toolbox talks for a wide range of topics
o CDM documentation
o Accident / near miss reporting and investigation.
o H&S audits / inspections
A full review of your current H&S documentation will take place and practical guidance provided on its suitability. This will determine areas for improvement and a bespoke plan will then be devised to suit your needs.
MO Health and Safety is fully insured to provide health and safety services and advice.
