Carrying out supplier’s inspections and audits for the Operational Signalling, Track and Civils Directorates on LUL premises to identify compliance with the Management Systems, including recommendations for corrective or preventive action where appropriate.

 Participating in accident/investigation to determine Root Cause, identify key lessons and make recommendations to prevent recurrence.

 Studying trends in near miss reporting; making recommendations to rectify deficiencies in work practices.

 Promoting Safe working practices throughout the stage of the project activities to all levels of personnel.

 Ensuring company HSE policies and procedures are implemented consistently and effectively, and compliance adhered to by all employees.

 Conducting detailed risk assessments and method statements.

 Ensuring that all agreed control procedures are followed through in each department.

Develop and implement Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental strategies aimed at improving a client’s Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental performance/profile.

 Provide leadership and direction to clients to ensure compliance with the applicable laws and regulations and fulfilled adherence to statutory norms providing assurance to HSQE management systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, policies and procedures.

 Plan and undertake audits to ISO standards to ensure and measure compliance.

 Contribute to the execution and delivery of Link Up Audits and other Global supply chain risk management assurance requirements.

 Carry out risk assessments to ensure that standards and legal requirements are consistent with the international and national standards requirements, using international Risk Assessment / Analysis Methodologies and raise non--compliances during Board meetings.

 Provide regular reports and recommendations to client stakeholders on progress of action plans against agreed goals and targets.

 Maintaining statistics and detailed records of inspection findings, records of incidents, near misses and accidents and producing statistical data and reports for clients.

 Identify and carry out training and development needs through job and schedule analysis and provide regular consultation with Managers and members of other client departments.

 Work with all levels of management and staff to introduce a focus on behavioural based coaching and mentoring leading to recognisably improved safety cultures while promoting a safe and excellent working environment that is aligned to working practices.

 Work closely with all relevant regulatory authorities ensure full compliance with current legislation, share information and promote best practice across a company.

 Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, in particular CDM 2007.

 Conducting incidents and accidents investigations.

 Carrying out face fit testing in accordance with COSHH Regulations requirements.

 Participation in Health and Safety forums.
