As a consultant I work with stakeholders to look for practical cost-effective solutions using experience gained in industry to work towards compliance in health and safety. I have a wide client base, with particular focus on Agriculture and Estates, providing bespoke health and safety management solutions and the provision of sensible relevant advice and support to customers to help protect businesses, employees and the public.

I provide risk solutions and advice to clients in line with current health and safety, and fire standards, guidelines and service levels designed to reduce client and NFUM risk exposure, retain business and deliver RMS targets and KPIs.

I recruit, lead, manage and motivate the team so that they know what is expected, are able to maximise their contribution and realise their potential ensuring the effective allocation of work and utilisation of resources across regions to deliver KPIs.

I coach, guide and advise the team, underwriters, claims handlers and Agents on technical issues, to develop technical knowledge compliant with current and forthcoming standards, legislation and regulation.

I develop, deliver, coordinate and monitor technical workshops, seminars and training programmes for RMS, NFUM departments and clients to increase knowledge, awareness and standards, improve competence and promote services.

I monitor, report and act on the quality of work within the team to ensure client satisfaction, compliance with standards and continuous improvement.

I build and maintain relationships with regional Claims, Underwriting, Agents and other RMS functions to promote RMS Services and ensure the effective delivery of objectives.

I establish and maintain relationships with professional and industry bodies and committees to ensure the effective delivery of objectives and contribute to the development of the field and industry standards.
