I volunteered as a special police constable in Derbyshire and worked with the 'Safer Neighbourhood' teams and the reactive teams helping to implement lasting solutions to local issues. Safer neighbourhood policing is all about having dedicated local teams making areas safer, cleaner and a more pleasant place to live.

I built upon my investigation, interview, customer service and accident investigation skills and learnt how to defuse challenging situations.
