Founded and built TalkHSE, an online HSE management platform that helps businesses simplify and automate their health, safety and environmental processes. I provide HSE consultancy across a wide range of industries, developing and implementing Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems (HSEMS) aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. My services include risk assessments, audits, inspections, investigations and compliance solutions, supporting organisations in embedding strong safety cultures, improving operational efficiency and maintaining compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

I oversaw HSE for approximately 300 employees across UK & Ireland operations. I rebuilt and maintained ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. I conducted site inspections, audits and incident investigations, providing advice on risk management and hazard identification. I reported directly to senior leadership, delivering key HSE information and monthly/annual reporting, including KPIs, to support informed decision-making and a strong safety culture. This role covered a diverse range of industries, including paper mills, oil and gas, offshore, cement , food and general manufacturing.

Supported operations at a lower-tier COMAH nuclear facility in Berkshire, delivering safe and compliant work in the manufacture, maintenance and development of UK nuclear warheads. Led a team of seven Safety Advisors, working closely with senior leadership to drive safety improvements and embed best practices. Developed and maintained policies, procedures and HSE strategies, including budgeting, emergency exercises and safety performance measurement. Provided guidance on safe systems of work, risk assessments, HAZOPs, ALARP reviews and DSEAR assessments, while coaching staff and representing the organisation to regulators. Promoted a positive safety culture through communications, toolbox talks and performance monitoring.

I worked at an upper-tier COMAH Oil & Gas facility in Hampshire, supporting operations for natural gas storage and oil production. I delivered comprehensive HSE management, including policy and procedure development aligned with ISO 14001/45001, compliance monitoring (COMAH, PUWER, COSHH) and contractor management. I also led incident investigations, human error analysis and risk management processes, while preparing safety and environmental reports, KPIs and the annual HSE strategy. In addition, I acted as Deputy Safety Manager and Site Main Controller during emergencies, liaising with regulators and ensuring permits and licences were maintained.

I worked at an upper-tier COMAH Liquefied Natural Gas facility supporting operations that involved the receipt, storage and re-gasification of LNG. My role focused on HSE responsibilities, including creating policies and procedures aligned with international standards, contributing to the development of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, reviewing safe systems of work (SSoW), developing toolbox talks, maintaining and reporting against the HSE strategy, managing contractor pre-qualifications and conducting incident investigations.

I worked at one of the UK’s largest upper-tier COMAH petroleum storage facilities, accounting for nearly 25% of the country’s independent multiproduct storage. In my role, I was responsible for auditing risk assessments and method statements, monitoring and reviewing issued work permits, ensuring inspection reports and documentation were completed and stored appropriately and assisting with the inspection of tanks and pipelines while accurately recording and reporting findings.

I worked as a Drilling Supervisor covering the UK, where I oversaw concrete crushing, drilling, and silent demolition, as well as various chemical and mechanical anchoring tasks in challenging environments — while providing HSE oversight and ensuring full compliance with safety regulations.
