As a health and safety consultant my main role was to provide expert advice and support to businesses, helping them ensure compliance with health and safety laws, identify and mitigate workplace risks, and create safer working environments. They achieve this by conducting risk assessments, developing safety policies, training staff, and investigating accidents to ensure companies maintain and improve their health and safety standards.

As the managing director i aim to ensure the overall arrangements are effective, setting the tone from the top to protect employees and others affected by the company's operations. This includes establishing and enforcing a clear health and safety policy, ensuring legal compliance, providing adequate resources and training, appointing competent personnel, and making sure risks are identified and managed through effective systems.
