Overview
Anjum Khan is a Chartered Fellow of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (CFIOSH), an OSHCR Registered Consultant and Director of Health & Safety Consultants (UK) Ltd.
With over 30 years' experience in occupational health, safety and environmental management, Anjum provides practical, proportionate and commercially focused advice to businesses across a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, engineering, stone and granite processing, warehousing, logistics, food production, vehicle repair and commercial operations.
Prior to establishing his consultancy practice, Anjum spent 12 years working within the chemical industry in health, safety and environmental management roles, followed by 15 years providing health and safety support to businesses throughout Lancashire under a range of government and HSE-backed programmes. During this time, he assisted more than 100 businesses in improving health and safety performance, achieving legal compliance and developing effective safety management systems.
Anjum specialises in health and safety management systems, risk assessment, PUWER compliance, COSHH assessments, fire safety, accident and incident investigation, safety culture improvement, machinery safety, contractor management, workplace inspections and audits, training and competence development, and environmental management. His approach is based on providing sensible, practical and cost-effective solutions tailored to the needs of each organisation.
As a Chartered Fellow of IOSH and an OSHCR Registered Consultant, Anjum is committed to maintaining the highest professional standards through continuing professional development and delivering advice that is proportionate, pragmatic and aligned with current legislation and recognised best practice.
