I’m a practical, results-driven Health, Safety and Environmental Consultant with a degree in Safety and Risk Management and over 20 years’ hands-on experience helping businesses work safely and stay compliant. I’m a Chartered Member of IOSH and an Associate Member of IEMA.

I’ve worked across a range of industries, developing and implementing safety management systems, method statements and safe working procedures that actually work on the ground - not just on paper. I also lead accident investigations and support environmental management programs to keep businesses aligned with best practice and legal standards.

With a background in teaching, I’m qualified through IOSH to deliver courses from Working Safely to Managing Safely and Directing Safely. I’ve also trained as an Approved Driving Instructor and specialise in Fleet Risk Management.

Approachable, adaptable and clear in communication, I aim to make health and safety straightforward, achievable and genuinely useful for the people doing the job.

Registered auditor for both 1800:1 and the latest ISO BS 4500:1. Can write your policies and get your organisation through external audit.

General consultancy

Offer general health and safety consultancy, assess where your HSMS is currently and make recommendations on how to move it forward to reduce accident and improve safety.

Injury Reporting

Can assist company with reportable injuries, ensuring that the right information is reported and ensure that information that could prove liability is correct.

Inspections

Workplace inspections are the corner stone of all HSMS, if you are not doing it, you do not know if you are at risk. We can train your own operators to carry this out and make sure you have all the forms in place to make it easy to record and get hazards controlled.

Investigations

Accident investigations are very important, and we specialise in this area. We can be onsite and ensure that the real reason the accident happened is uncovered. This is vital for future EL claims.

Registered IOSH Training Provider and can deliver courses onsite.

COSHH

Carry out COSHH assessments and ensure they are accessible to workforce.

Display Screen Equipment (DSE)

Carry out DSE assessment for entire workforce.

Complete fire risk assessments.

Further Information

I am a Chartered Safety and Health Practitioner registered with IOSH. As well as being a consultant, I am a Health and Safety Trainer, teaching Manual Handling, Working, Managing and Leading Safely courses from IOSH as well as the NEBOSH General Certificate and Diploma.

My teaching style is light hearted, enjoyable, and delivered in an easy to understand way. Feedback from all my work is excellent and I pride myself in delivering the highest standard of service.
