Recruited to form a team and manage the Quality, Health and Safety on the Rolls Royce-Trescal metrological project –under Trescal’s contract as tier 1 supplier for all calibration needs; to adopt and implement Rolls Royce’s CS06 Control of Contractors Health, support implementation of ISO 45001:18, ensure Calibration Control of all in-situ OEM machines and support manufacturing and production under all aspects, starting from qualifying suppliers, assessing their risk levels to assisting them in adopting and adhering to the Rolls-Royce Safety and Quality Standards; supporting through audits, including UKAS and NADCAP. The day-to-day role involves compiling weekly visit lists through expert level interaction with Indysoft –Gage InSite. Liaising with Production Leaders, Safety Responsible Persons and Manufacturing Engineering Leads to ensure gages and machinery are safely taken out of production for calibration and repairs activities, micromanage each work project and safely return the gage to production, ensuring comprehensive buy-back. Arranging supplier visits, reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements, COSHH Risk Assessments and data sheets, verifying safety certificates (LOLER, LEV, etc), qualifications and competencies, obtaining security clearances, delivering inductions, briefings, determining and limiting scope of works, safety tours and inspections.
