I'm an RAF Veteran and now a Chartered Health and Safety Consultant, based in Plymouth, Devon.

I started my working life as an apprentice landscape gardener in Cornwall. I joined the RAF, served across the UK along with on Operation Telic (Gulf II) and Operation Herrick (Afghanistan). Upon leaving the RAF I gained my NEBOSH General Certificate and worked in a variety of industries. I've worked as a H&S advisor for the largest construction company in Britain on Multi-million pound schemes along with working as a H&S manager for the South West number 1 property maintenance and property refurbishment company. I've also spent over a year as a contractor working on the Governments Nuclear Waste programme working for NWS as a senior H&S Advisor. 

I've gained further qualifications since leaving the RAF up to Level 6 in Occupational Health and Safety which has allowed me to become a chartered member of IOSH and be included on this register.

I also sit on the IOSH Sports Ground and Events Committee as joint vice chair. I was successfully appointed into this for the work I do with the organiser of the largest mass participation event in the south west (Plymouth Half Marathon), where I am appointed as lead safety consultant for this event. 

To summarise, I have experience in H&S from event management and general office through to high hazard construction sites.
