I began my career in construction as general operative. The first 5 years I worked in the highways 278 road formation works. The next 5 years I worked on the railway completing a number of tasks from platform works, extension, bridge re-builds and maintenance.

in total I was in this role for 10years.

I continued working within the rail industry for a construction company called Walker Construction uk Ltd. Over the next 6 years I moved up into the position as a site supervisor. I managed and allocated work to employees and was involved in completing on site inspections.

During my time on the tools I become a qualified plant operator under the CPCS CITB plant scheme. In 2008 I joined a training provider called Industrial Training Services who are based in Essex. I trained up to be a RTITB, CPCS, NPORS, UKATA, EUSR Instructor, tester and examiner. I also became a qualified A1 construction plant and ground works assessor. I completed my Nebosh Construction in 2013 and decided to move into a position of Health and Safety Advisor for Waljer Construction Uk Ltd. My role involved completing onsite safety Inspections across, construction south, north highways, building and rail divisions within the company. I completed accident incident reports, safety stand downs, and health and safety training. In the year of 2016 I made the move into the health and safety managers position. My role involved carrying out monthly safety meetings with all divisions, attending safety client meetings, accident incident trend analysing, chairing safety action group meetings, compiling safety alerts updates and company newsletters. Reviewing, revising company polices and procedures, management meetings, completion of yearly safety reports and heading the company's Behavioural Safety Programme, consisting of implementing safety champions across working sites. Completion of on site inspections.

I set up Marshall Health & Safety Services Nov- 2017 and started full time employment in Jan-2018. I also registered as an accredited NPORS training provider. I deliver both Health & Safety services and training in construction plant site management & supervisors courses and classroom based safety courses under the accreditations of NPORS and CITB. 

I am a Chartered Member of IOSH in the delivery of H&S Proffessional services.
