Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring the effective day-to day running of the business with a particular emphasis on sales and business development,  
2. Ensuring CQMS continues to grow by way of developing new clients whilst maintaining its existing customer base,
3. Development of CQMS’ strategic plans,
4. Development and maintenance an effective management team,
5. Management of CQMS’ Human Resources.

Role includes:

1. Act as leading representative to all stakeholders including presentation of SSIP’s corporate values and mission statement,
2. Take the chair at full forum meetings,
3. Take the chair at board meetings ensuing an effective agenda is in place; that the board receives accurate, timely and clear information; keeping track of the contribution of individual directors and ensuring that they are all involved in discussions and decision-making,
4. Take a leading role in determining the composition of the board taking into consideration promoting the success of SSIP and ensuring continued corporate governance,
5. Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.

Finance Director of CQMS Ltd providing H&S advice and support to clients, duties include:

1. Develop and control the company’s annual operating budget to ensure that all financial targets are met and financial and statutory regulations complied with,
2. Contribute to the achievement of the company's business objectives by providing advice and guidance on financial strategy,
3. Oversee the preparation of the company's financial accounts to ensure that these are presented accurately and on time,
4. Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management within the company,
5. Monitor external contracts and services provided by suppliers to ensure that these are operating effectively and provide the best value to the company,
6. Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company meets its financial and legal obligations,
7. Ensuring clients’ compliance with Health and Safety legislation’,
8. Carrying out General, Manual Handling, DSE & COSHH Risk Assessments’,
9. Carrying out Site Inspections – various industries (construction, engineering & catering)
10. Production of clients Health and Safety Policies’,
11. Implementation and monitoring of CQMS ISO 9001 & OHSAS 18001 procedures,
12. Production of CQMS’ Health and Safety Newsletter.

1. Operate at strategic level, ensuring that the Catholic vision and character of the school is upheld,
2. Completion of school monitoring visits,
