I established HSQE Safety Services Limited and began working on a consultancy basis within the rail and construction sectors. I provide bespoke and regulatory training solutions and strategic HSE and behavioural improvement programmes for clients including the implementation, measurement & reporting of performance to deliver proactive HSQE and sustainability management and to maximise the gain share opportunity for clients.  I have initiated, successfully developed and implemented a wide range of bespoke programmes for a number of tier 1 and tier 2 clients along with providing safety, environmental and audit support to improve and maintain HSQE performance. 

Head of Safety and Sustainability for a £250m social housing construction and refurbishment company with a UK wide remit managing all HS&E aspects of the organisation, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

With a UK wide remit, my role was a key component of the Project Divisions Senior Management Team.  In a strategic Professional Head position, reporting to the Managing Director of Rail Projects, I was responsible for the development of Safety & Quality management systems and programmes, compliance and performance measurement/reporting along with operational safety and quality management responsibility for three of the four rail projects directorates.  My role included the management of 15 multi-skilled HSQE professionals.
