·         Advising clients from a wide range of industries on all matters relating to health, safety and environmental management.

·         Carrying out routine site visits, inspections and audits, as well as accident investigations.

·         Contractor assessments and vetting forms for clients.

·         Liaising with the Enforcement Authorities as required by clients.

·         Compiling health & safety documentation including policies and procedures, carrying out risk assessments, completing method statements and safe systems of work and other documentation as required by clients.

·         To keep up to date with current standards and legislation and best working methods, to disseminate this information throughout the company

·         Responsible for maintaining the company procedures and policies

·         Suggest improvements that can be made to documentation within the QMS and communicate these to the Head of HSEQ

·         To produce and review risk assessments, manual handling assessments, fire risk assessments, COSHH assessments, HAV assessments

·         Knowledge of ISO14001, ISO9001 & OHSAS18001 management systems

·         Conduct internal audits into management systems

·         Conduct health, safety and environment inspections of construction sites and head office

·         Investigate accidents and incidents to prevent reoccurrence

·         Manage suppliers’ database, including the evaluation for approval of new suppliers

·         Maintain company accreditations (CHAS, RISQS, Building Confidence) and online profiles (Builder’s Profile, Construct)

·          To input HSEQ information for tenders and KPI submissions
