Chartered Member of IOSH, with over 10 years experience in local government, education and leisure. 

Experienced in health and safety audits, covering a range of topics bespoke to the industry / setting. Also experienced in cultural reviews, for example, an audit is completed which highlights improvements are needed. This then results in case work with the Management team, and working through actions jointly (i.e training provided, toolbox talks and discussions regarding competency and responsibilities). Then further inspections / sampling takes place to review.

Experience in accident investigation, witness statement reviews and root cause analysis. This includes reporting to the HSE where an incident has met RIDDOR criteria.

Experienced in school queries, regarding: educational visits, activity risk management, EYFS, accident investigations, pupils returning to school (i.e post surgery), medical conditions/ health conditions, return to work for staff, working with contractors, premises management, fire log book compliance, catering facilities etc.
