24 Years service in the Royal Enginners, with various health and safety roles across a wide variety of tasks including construction, plant and equipment, demolitions, facilities management, training and leadershiop and management

SHE consultant with THSP, duties include

• Providing health and safety services to clients form various industries (including Principal Contractors and Demolition Contractors) in the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East as required.
• Conducting companywide Safety, Health and Environmental reviews of client’s activities and/or premises to identify the effectiveness of the organisations health and safety management system and identify potential hazards.  Providing immediate verbal feedback on findings along with a written report and action plan that identifies breaches in legislation, potential hazards, remedial actions, and advice on best practice. 
• Generation of safety reports and SHE documentation, including Risk assessments, Method Statements, COSHH Assessments, Environmental Impact and Aspects register.
• Advising clients of Health and Safety training needs and participate in training activities as required, within my own capabilities including; H&S legislation, COSHH and toolbox talks.
• ·       Investigate accidents, dangerous occurrences and near misses, prepare reports and recommendations.
• Promote health and safety by leadership and by setting good examples.
• Act as the Health and Safety Manager for Clients Company.
• Liaise with members of the Health and Safety Executive or other enforcing authorities as required.
