Working within a large health and safety consultancy providing:

• Initial contact with clients and ongoing relationship management.
• Identification of client requirements to ensure needs and expectations are met.
• Preparation and installation of client H&S policy documentation and inspection reports.
• Conducting fire risk assessments.

• Assist with risk assessments as required and follow up control measures to completion.
• Organise fire evacuation drills and monitor station performance.
• Ensure the station’s fire evacuation emergency plans are suitable, sufficient, and up to date.
• Monitor the station for compliance with company fire safety and health & safety procedures.
• Assist with the investigation of incidents and near misses to establish root causes and develop required action plans with relevant processes.
• Ensure fire log book checks are completed within recommended time scales.
• Collate and produce weekly safety reports as required, highlighting health & safety and fire safety concerns.
• Undertake projects and information gathering to establish hazards and level of risk within the delivery station.
• Ensure fire risk assessment actions are completed within a reasonable time frame.
• Carry out EHS training sessions for managers and associates as required.
• Run monthly meetings with station health and safety committee members to discuss fire safety and health & safety issues.
