The employment law and HR management service allows organisations to proactively manage their personnel from recruitment to exit interviews through the development and implementation of their own systems. All of our health and safety consultants are qualified members of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) or the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM). Our employment law experts are barristers, solicitors or HR professionals who are qualified members of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD). I am posed technical health and safety challenges on a daily basis by clients and always provide both workable and realistic solutions. I support and guide clients to become empowered in their understanding of legislative requirements and its practical application and industry best practice. I advise and support a wide range of organisations ranging from multi-national companies to sole traders on how to effectively implement their health and safety management systems and policies in line with their moral and legal duties. I influence senior management teams and company directors on their responsibilities via various communication methods such as chairing/leading health and safety committees and acting as the competent advisor, producing and presenting reports to SMT/Board meetings on performance, providing informative training sessions and recommending corrective actions following investigation of instances of non-conformance. I act as a health and safety mentor for a number of health and safety managers/advisors in client organisations and provide structured support and guidance in the principles of health and safety management and how to improve the behaviours of workers by improving the health and safety culture. I aim to empower clients by providing clear and pragmatic communication and consultation that seeks to ensure their health and safety duties become second nature rather than a bolt-on requirement. I provide a variety of training courses and presentations to clients and liaise with third parties to provide specialist training when I recognise the limitations of my own competencies. I also regularly liaise with The Health and Safety Executive and Local Environmental Officers on specific campaigns or topical issues.
