I have over 30 years of experience working in Health, Safety, Environmental and Training. Twenty-one years were garnered from working with the British Ministry of Defence. I was the lead H&S for the UK strategic Tide Gauge network for over three years working with the UKs Environment Agency, led the First Winter Ice Dive of the UK's highest lake in association with the Royal Geographical Society, and continuously delivered strategic leadership to a multi-disciplined training company.

I am a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk & Safety Management (IIRSM), a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management, and a Member of the Institute of Engineering & Technology, and a Member of the Institute of Fire Risk Managers, a Practionaer of the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (PIESP), and a member of the National Expert Witness Association. I currently work as a Director at Evolution Safety Solutions, a company set up to make Health, Safety, Environmental & Fire Safety Consultancy and training accessible to all. I am a certified ROSPA Inspector for PPE, Rope courses, and Adventure industries. I am a lead auditor for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

British Army	01.1992 - 11.2013	Working with the British Army as a soldier from a sapper to a commissioned officer.
Training Support	12.2013 - 10.2014	During my transition from the military into civilian life, I assisted in the Education department of HMP Precoed prison. Specific responsibility was to help prisoners with creating CVs, applying for employment, and writing letters for legal correspondence.
Business Development & Contract Manager	11.2014 - 05.2018	An Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Company with an emphasis on Marine engineering. My role here was to help shape the director’s strategic vision to develop the business. Once we had a vision, I developed strategic commercial relationships for sustainable growth and in turn helped make the vision reality. Using strategic analysis and systems thinking to help shape the strategic marketing plan. In addition, I contract managed the Environment Agency’s strategic Tide Gauge network of 43 complex sites across the UK. Whilst with Phillips Services I achieved; - Increased turnover through my direct input into relationship development by 33% and profits on those contracts by 16% - Developed a new commercial inshore diving division of the company to fulfil a £1m contract - Successfully managed an inshore Marine 43-site portfolio of assets and a multi-million-pound budget.
