Heathrow Airport Ltd HSSE Manager | 02.2014 - 01.2017 | Oversaw health, safety, security and environment controls for the Property (hotels and airlines) and Retail areas of the entire LHR campus, ensured all established protocols were adhered to by the Heathrow Commercial Delivery Team and 3rd party contractors (construction and maintenance). Working client side chaired monthly HSSE meetings, detail design and pre-start meetings with both Principal Designers and Principal Contractors, performed audits, inspections, large scale training and inductions, completed accident and incident investigations and served as the first point of contact for over 500 commercial client partners and contractors at Heathrow. Set key safety requirements and timelines for Commercial Delivery Managers, prepared and delivered commercial delivery dashboards for LHR Directors. Kept abreast of new regulations through personal development and continued research. Maintained and communicated a positive mind-set when problem solving or implementing new systems. Identified, encouraged and coached talent whilst ensuring positive role model achievement to inspire at all levels of the business. Berkeley West Thames, Senior HSE Manager | 01.2017 - 10.2018 | Head of Health, Safety, Environment and Sustainability for Berkeley Homes on the £1.5 billion West London project Southall Waterside. Leading a team of HSE, Sustainability and Lifting Managers on an 88-acre brownfield regeneration project in SW London, a disused National Grid Gasworks site. Providing Governance and Assurance to the Board of Directors across 5 projects from RC frame and residential fit out to earthworks, remediation, civils and infrastructure works. Designing and implementing safety management systems, company procedures and strategies. Berkeley West Thames (BWT) acted as Client and PC site wide and I ensured best practice with all BWT staff and trade partners. Key Accomplishments: • Delivered site wide set up of 5 projects across 88 acres ensuring safe and successful delivery • Fire co-ordinator for 5 Projects on 1 site • Developed, promoted and delivered monthly HSE Reward and Recognition process |
