I left HSE in 2012 after 36 years. As one of the HSEs most experienced operational inspectors I undertook proactive inspections in a wide range of industries and was the lead inspector for several high profile investigations. I was part of the HSE group which established OSHCR. Since leaving HSE I have worked with a range of stakeholders to improve the management of H&S. I lecture on a regular basis on a variety of H&S topics to various audiences including employee groups, senior managers and health and safety professionals. I am a NEBOSH tutor. I can assist in improving the overall management of H&S by providing advice and training on a wide range of both technical and risk management issues. I can also help in undertaking risk assessments, developing safe systems of work, accident and incident investigations. Having a detailed understanding of how the regulators work I will be able to assist in minimising the financial effects of “Fee For Intervention”.
