Starting my career in the leisure industry in the early 90's I have extensive knowledge and expertise within the sector. I have a particular interest in swimming pools, plant rooms and the lifeguarding and supervision of swimming pools. Having previously run facilities such as public pools, hotel leisure clubs, 50 metre swimming pools, water parks and finally a national stadium I have gained a valuable insight into all aspects of the industry. As a registered National Trainer Assessor for the RLSS I am passionate about the safe supervision of swimming pools. In the last few years I have also been involved in writing some key manuals for the industry for pool room operation and various other subjects. Finally I have extensive experiance in auditing and reporting having also being the contract holder for the European Swimming Pool Safety Award.

Currently I sit as a Technical Advisor for the Royal Lifesaving Soceity as well as part of the British Standards Insitute Committee Member for Swimming Pools. In March 2021 I was also appoinited to the Pool Water Technical Advisory Group as Vice Chair and  council member as well as being appointed to the training forum board. I sit on the BSI as a committee member for swimming pools in the UK.
