Divisional Health and Safety Manager and Health and Safety Support Manager 04.1993 - 01.2007

Worked in the Waste Industry, specialising in the management of Special Waste Streams and Recycling Waste Streams. Prior to a company reshuffle I worked as a Health and Safety Support Manager in support of Regional Colleagues. I directly report to the Company Safety Manager or to the Director for Environment, Quality and Health and Safety.

-           Appointed to investigate major accidents and incidents.

-           Liaison with legal services providers in producing, collating and presenting evidence.

-           Case Manager from Investigation to Provision and Support of Legal Practitioners.

-           Company Representative on national standards committees

-           Facilitating integration of businesses into the Biffa Waste Group.

-           Facilitating design, build and commissioning of major structures and landfill.

-           Devise and deliver training programmes for Project Management, Task Management, Staff Management and Site Control.     

-           Devise and deliver a series of lectures to the industry lead training and associations in conjunction with the HSE.
