We prepare and deliver training classes, either standardized as an OHTA approved provider, or customized to meet customer needs.

COSHH

The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations govern the safe use of hazardous substances in the workplace. The regulations require employers to assess employee exposures to hazardous substances, control the exposures, conduct monitoring if needed, provide health surveillance if necessary and to train employees in the safe use of hazardous substances.

At Euro Safety and Health we have over 30 years experience in chemical safety, exposure assessment and control, we can:

• conduct risk assessments to determine the likelihood of exposure from all routes
• measure the levels of contaminants in the air to determine compliance
• provide independent recommendations to correct exposure problems
• train workers in chemical safety and the proper use of personal protective equipment

Noise Survey / Risk Assessment

Noise surveys are provided to ensure a healthy workplace and compliance with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations and European Council directive 2003/10/EC.

 

Indoor Air Quality investigations

The air we breathe is made up of a variety of gases, but is mostly nitrogen (about 78%) and oxygen (about 21%). Contaminants can build up to degrade the quality of the air or even cause a building related illness (BRI) such as Legionnaire's Disease. Often though there is no cause immediately obvious and that is what is called sick building syndrome (SBS). At Euro Safety and Health we have over 20 years experience in finding the cause and cure of indoor air quality problems be they SBS or BRIs, we can: conduct investigations to determine the nature and extent of the problem measure the levels of contaminants and other factors such as ventilation and temperature provide independent recommendations for a cure
